Is the couple supposed to pay for the ring bearer/flower girl outfits? Or is that the parents responsibility?

The etiquette is blurred on this. In my area, it’s common to pay for anyone you ask to be in your wedding who is a minor. We paid for our flower girl’s dresses.

It’s totally up to you and if you can afford to put it in your budget! We would have done this if we could afford it, but the parents are getting the outfits. It was unspoken and understood when we proposed for the kids to be in the wedding, so I don’t think that it is something they expected us to pay for.
