Flower Girl/jr. Bridesmaid Gift

kbrands, on June 11, 2018 at 10:11 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 18

What is everyone getting for their flower girls/junior bridesmaids? I already bought them flannels to get ready in the morning of (although that is not a part of their gift, just using it for pictures). I also was thinking about getting them cute tumblers with their names on it from etsy. Still need some more ideas though!

I bought my flower girl a few books (like less than $10 each from amazon), one about being a flower girl that I plan to write a note in as something special, and one about fairy princesses or something.

I'm planning on buying her a flower girl doll as well for her to play with.

Lastly, I'm getting her a hanky with a cute saying on it about her being a flower girl that she can use as her something old on her wedding day because I love sentimental things.

For our ring bearer, I also bought him a few books. (He's 5) One is about being a ring bearer and the other is about baseball which he loves and plays. I also plan to get him an engraved baseball as a keepsake that will have his name on it. We may get him something else but we haven't figured out what else to get him.

All I got for my flowers girls were tumblers and hand sanitizer. I wasn't sure what to get either but they LOVED their cups and started using them the second they got it out. For my ring bearers I got a little teddy bear that has one of the ring bearers name on it, and the other got rubber bands so he can make bracelets and stuff.

3/4 of my ring bearers and flower girls were flying in so I was mindful of how they could take it back. Because no one wants to travel with huge amounts of extra stuff haha!

Our flower girls will be 3 and 1, so I'm planning on a personalized water bottle for the 3 year old and some kind of toy (whatever she is into at the time). For the 1 year old, I'm thinking some kind of cute outfit and a toy also!

I got my flower girl and ring bearer tumblers that said Ring Bearer and Flower Girl on them from Hobby Lobby! Coloring books and crayons, bath bomb for flower girl and bath soap for ring bearer. And a few other little nicknacks! I didn’t have any junior bridesmaids but my MOH was 16. She got candy, bath bombs, makeup and hair and face masks (she loves those things!)

How old are they? What are their interests/hobbies? I would spend my money buying one nice gift rather than a bunch of cheap items that will be lost/broken or thrown away in no time.

Depending on their age, you can order flower girl and junior bridesmaid books personalized with their name, lockets, bracelets, a watch, build a bear.

    Hand sanitizer? really?

This would be perfect for one of them. She is 5 and obsessed with unicorns! Where did you find this?

They will be 4, 6, and 9 (jr bridesmaid). I agree on finding something useful versus something they will play with for a week and throw away. I was thinking a necklace or bracelet. I think that is the winner with the tumbler! Thanks for the useful ideas!

My nephew is a ring bearer and I gave him pokemon (his favorite) toys that I double checked with his dad/my brother to make sure he didn't already own. If your flower girls or jr bridesmaids are at the age where they still play with toys, I think they would love something like that.

I got mine Build-A-Bears personalized to their favorite colors, ect. They loved them. They were scented and some made noises.

I love the idea of the hanky for flower girl! How awesome to have her be able to use it for something old for her wedding day. Smiley heart

These are some of my inspiration pictures for what I will gift. Coloring book and crayons, picture from for after the wedding, something they like they'll play with (playdo, bubbles, action figure, stuffed animal), a book, a snack, hand sanitizer, a camera for them to capture their own pictures, and a tumbler. I may get both of my flower girls a necklace for jewelry day of for a keepsake. My potential ring bearer (gender reveal for my sister this week, eek!) will be under a year so I won't be going crazy on a gift for him.

Not ashamed to say I was tempted to get one for myself! Haha. Now I just have to figure out timing of giving it to them, or they will want to wear them for the ceremony! Or I’ll have crying FGs, LOL. But it may be chilly afterwards, we are having an outdoor reception (with propane heaters) so that could work out really cute.
