Flower girl

I’m having the same issue with whether I want one or not. We have several kids around the same age in our families and it’s hard to pick who will do it, or do we have multiple. I’m thinking of skipping it all together too!

There are really no rules anymore as to what is necessary at a wedding. Nothing is standard anymore and people are just doing what they want and simply skipping things that maybe 30 years ago you “had to have”. We won’t have a flower girl, and no one is going to throw petals instead. There are no young kids in our lives and I don’t want to force it, besides I could really care less to have a flower girl and ring bearer. So do absolutely whatever you want and don’t worrying about having to do anything.

I feel you can do whatever feels better for you, it’s not a strict rule that you need to have a flower girl, I have a flower girl but I’m also skipping some other things for the wedding

Like everyone else has said, there’s no hard and fast rule. If you don’t want a flower girl, you don’t need one! If you want the effect of flower petals being strewn around but don’t want to wrangle little ones, I would definitely talk to your junior attendants about it.

You can definitely have the jr bridesmaids do it.
