Flower Girl Dress is too short

Maybe a horsehair trim could be added at the bottom of an underskirt. But you can check with a seamstress to see if maybe multiple layers could be added below the current hemline so it looks more as part of a design rather than a modification.

I guess the change depends on what the bride would prefer. It seems better to start with something that generally fits so it only needs minor alterations if any.

Where is the dress hitting her? I would think on an 8 year old any length is going to be fine.

That nice My 8 year old will be a flower girl this July. The dress chosen by the bride is beautiful but my daughter is super tall and super skinny and the dress is way too short. Its chiffon and there is no room to tailor it and make it longer. Can someone suggest an underskirt or something that will help? Thanks.

Its mid calf. Its not bad. Its just that the other flower girl's dress is hitting the floor and my daughters wants that "princess" look.
