Yes! That is what I've been struggling with! I have 4 flower girls and the baskets have been like $20 each and I don't even like them! haha

I opted for pails instead of baskets. I think they were $3.99 originally, but I got them half off at Hobby Lobby. I spray painted them gold (started as silver,) hot glued the ribbon and added the flowers on the sides. My basement lighting makes them look like a kind of gross color but I promise they're gold lol

I love the idea of unconventional flower girl baskets.

What is the theme of your wedding? Formal, vintage, rustic?

There are many styles of baskets out there that are less traditional, I can do some research.

But, depending how unconventional you are thinking, you could do a flower ball instead of a basket altogether?

You can have it made or make it out of different flowers. I have seen it done in roses and/or baby's breath too. Thinking about what kind of flowers are doing in your bouquet & your bridal party's might help with this part.

Do you have any theme or feel to your wedding that you would like to carry over into the baskets?

4 baskets will be the least of your costs. For every wedding party member you add, you have to increase the budget for the rehearsal dinner x 2 ( x3 for flower girls and ring bearers), and their gifts.

We bought our flower girl a little bag with ruffles on it that says “flower girl.” I honestly think we may just put the petals in that and let her throw them from there! Otherwise you could
just go get a little decorative basket front hobby lobby. It doesn’t have to be specifically for a flower girl. Just has to be something small you can put petals in!

Michael’s ..but this was more so bought to fit the “bayou look” of my theme..there are cheaper options on their website or in the store and they always have coupons and sales.

Have you checked Etsy? It really just depends on what you are looking for. I bet Hobby Lobby has a ton too
