How far in advance is best to ask your ring bearer and flower girl to be in the wedding.

    I'd stick the the typical timeline for asking all members of the bridal party: about 10-11 months before the wedding. I'm sure it could be 6-9 months, too, it really depends on alteration times.

    I'd also definitely ask their parents before doing any kind of formal "ask" for the kids!

    I agree with asking their parents first! I think it could also be smart to wait until just a few months before the wedding, because a year could be a long time to wait for a young kid who's excited about their role! Smiley heart

    We asked the same time as we asked the rest of our bridal party. We had let their parents know ahead of time that we planned on asking them. There were only two kids around the right age in both our families so I feel like their parents already had an idea. Smiley xd We also got these cute puzzles from Etsy so that they had a little present. Only one of them knew how his name was spelt but it was adorable watching them put the puzzles together after they opened them! Smiley heart
