Flower Girl Alternate Titles

Hi all, I had a Q about whether anyone has heard of (or can think of) more "adult" names for a flower girl. My fiance's sister is a year younger than I am and we want to include her in the wedding but we are not having wedding parties (groomsmen/bridesmaids) and she will be throwing flowers. This is a role that she was very happy to accept, and she chose her own beautiful and adult dress, but I want a title that is maybe more fitting for her than flower girl, which you traditionally think of young children. Thank you!

If there’s no wedding party, “sister of the groom” is fine and would be my choice over anything made up. I’d have her walk down the aisle with a bouquet as a more adult alternative to throwing flowers.

I agree with this. The current trend in some isolated pockets of social circles via Tiktok to have adults fill these roles is not representative of real life and it comes across better to have them walk down the aisle as adults being adults with no alternative titles or roles.

I dont think there’s an age limit on throwing petals, I do also think it would be nice to have them walking down the aisle and it’s a fun alternative to an awkward slow walk down the aisle. Thank you for the name suggestion!
