Hello all!

I have an appointment with my first florist next week and I am clueless on budgets lol. I was wondering what some of you have spent or been quoted on for your floral needs.
I’m in CT.

thanks!!

This one actually had me pretty surprised! I wanted to opt for strictly greenery. Save my bouquet. But as I sat and waited for the total... the lady smiled when she delivered the price tag of $4500..apparently even seeded eucalyptus cost $15 per foot. We worked the figure down to $3200 including taxes and delivery and set up. But dos that by shortening the length of the table runners and overall amount of greenery. Flowers are expensive.

I did continue to process check and found that my overall savings going with someone else would not have been substantial enough to switch.

I did just recently find a florist that offers flower arrangement classes and bridal sessions for brides and their friends to come in and make everything with materials that they have on site... they store... you task someone with picking up. Cost was 1/3 !!! Super savings. However you would have to complete those 1-2 days before the weddings and we simply don't have the time man power

We're spending $1k. That's for delivery, no setup. Two bouquets, one corsage, seven bouts, and 10 centerpieces.

We are spending $1,000 which includes a candy bar. However, we are renting a lot of the stuff that is being used. Our florist/decorator already owns a lot of the stuff we are using or she will buy it and then rent it to us then she reuses the stuff for other weddings. For instance, the containers for the candy she already owns and will rent each container to us for about $1. She also buys the candy in bulk. As for the flowers she buys them from a wholesaler. We had quotes from other people and they were way more expensive and by way more I mean like 3x the price. She also has the containers our flowers are going in so they are also $1 per container. She is making our signs and the ones that don't have our date or names she can reuse. She also has frames and stands that she is renting to us for the day. By renting this stuff it is a lot cheaper.

Flowers can range in price like crazy. It also depends a lot on what type of flowers you want, if they're in season locally at the time of your wedding, etc.

We are looking at about 1300! This includes a huge bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, greenery on chairs, table runners, arch way, and more. I feel if you do more greenery and less flowers the price might go down a bit.
