Flower (bubble) girls

Jamie, on February 9, 2014 at 6:55 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 9

Who pays for the flower girls dresses?

Has anyone done things other than flowers?

I am thinking of doing bubbles because my dog is walking down the isle and I think that would just be a edible distraction Smiley smile and there isn't any clean up Smiley smile ... Thoughts

We will be paying for our 2 FG's dresses.

I have seen people do bubbles, streamers, pinwheels as well as just holding the brides train

I am paying for the flower girls skirts, but mostly because I am making them. Im sure I'll find the tops and shoes for them too... The ring boy I ask his mom to get him a white button down and navy slacks (I figured she could spend as much or as little as she wants) We are getting him a bow tie.

I think the girls are going to carry something like this. I am just hoping that she doesn't use it to hit her brother the ring boy... LOL

My flower girls' dresses will be paid for by their parents and they are carrying pinwheels. I am paying for those.

I'm paid for the flower girl dress (and for her hair to be done). I've seen FG's carry signs, flowers, blow bubbles, carry pinwheels. You name it someone has done it. Mine will just hold a bouquet of sola flowers.

I'm making my FG'a tutu dresses, should come to be about $20 for both Smiley winking I decided to cover the cost regardless as both sets of parents are in the wedding and one of the RB's is a brother, I didn't want them going broke paying for 3-4 people to be in our wedding. And our girls are doing petals.

I paid for our flower girl's dress but I got it for a steal! We are doing a kissing ball instead of her throwing flowers.

My daughter has been a flowergirl 4 times in her 6 years and all but once (my moms wedding) I paid for her dress.
