I was just how soon everyone ordered their flowers. I’m not getting a lot, only my bouquet but I didn’t know when I should contact my florist about it. I’m getting married in October.

I'd contact them right away just so you can get in their book. October is a popular month so they might limit how many weddings they do.

I'm an October bride as well and I couldn't believe how many florist were not available for my day and it's a SUNDAY! lol I would start contacting florist now to make sure your date is still available.

Definitely contact them ASAP to secure your date. Even if it’s a small order of florals, the weddings she may have booked already could be huge ones and she might not be able to accommodate anymore. With 10/10/2020 being the most popular date of the year, I’d think many brides who couldn’t get that date would push their wedding up or back a week.

I’m getting married in August and I booked my florist back in December. I was just following the check list due date on here and on The Knot. I was worried the florist we wanted would book fast so I’m glad we booked early.

I booked my florist last month for my September wedding (only ordered my bouquet and a few buckets of flowers for everything else), however I could have waited a bit longer if I wanted to because of the florist I chose. She runs her own flower farm, so because I booked before spring planting she will be growing specific flowers in our colors for our wedding and is reserving them for us. However the other florists I looked into were definitely booking up quickly, so I would suggest starting to look into it now.
