Just curious as I've been meeting with a few florists and getting some quotes.

I think i found the one, i just want to make sure she's "reasonable"

how much are you all paying your florist? and what did you get?

I’m renting my floral from Something Borrowed Blooms. It’s an online boutique that sends you faux flowers (completed bouquets, centerpieces, bouts, etc) in the mail and you send them back when you’re done.

I’m spending $380 for 1 bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 boutonnières, and 7 centerpieces.

It’s going to be under a $1k. I have 1x bridal cascade bouquet, 1x MOH, 3x BM, 2x wrist corsage, 1x pin corsage, 2x flower girl wands, and 10x boutonnières.

I ended up deciding to make all our flowers, but we got a quote of $1,000 for one bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, 7 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, 8ish small centerpieces, a small arch swag, and two barrel topper arrangements, as well as delivery and setup. Nothing was going to be big or flowy, and I didn't have any flower preferences that drove the price up. Hope that helps!

I got a quote of $321 plus $50 delivery (I would have gone to pick them up) for my bouquet, 1 MOH, 1 FG bouquet that matched mine, 3 corsages, and 4 bouts. I decided to just do my own flowers. Either the farmers market or even just the pre-made bouquets from the grocery store. This way I can choose exactly which flowers I want. But I can't see spending so much money for flowers.

A lot of it depends on the area you live and what type of flowers you are getting. However, I think I got a really good deal. For $875, I am getting: a large cascading bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets (MOH being slightly larger), 12 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, 2 arch arrangements, and flower girl petals. These are my flowers:

We're paying 712. This includes delivery, setup, breakdown of 16 hydrangea vases, sweetheart table arrangement to put my bouquet in, bride bouquet, moh bouquet, junior BM bouquet, 3 silk flower kissing balls, 3 corsages and 9 boutonnieres (I think). We didn't use expensive flowers some I can remember are: delphinium, blue veronica, dusty miller, silver dollar eucalyptus, etc. I think my bouquet is supposed to be about 8 inches in diameter which is smaller than most. I didn't want a huge bouquet. I do feel we are getting a good deal. I asked for a quote from another florist using the same flowers and it was about twice as expensive. I think they did add some other kind of flower into their quote though.

I was quoted like $4,000+ for 3 bouquets, 4 bouts and 4 corsages with lilies and roses. I ended up going to fake flower route and paid $400 and they look just as real!

I received quotes anywhere from $3600 to $8,000 for the following (met with around 6-7 florists):

1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 grandmother/mother corsages, 7 groomsmen bouts, 2 father bouts, 2 large altar arrangements, 15 low round table centrepieces, 15 garland centrepieces for rectangle tables, 1 swag for seating chart, 1 head table arrangement + garland, 1 overhead beam installation, and some small bouquets to go on cocktail tables, dessert tables, etc. I also had flowers for my hair priced out. The large cost comes from the amount of tables we have + the beam arrangement.

We chose the florist who can work with us at the $3,600 price range. I think we will still be able to whittle this down lower a bit too. $3k for all of the items I've listed is really good. I may have to go heavier on the greens and less on the actual floral to cut some more costs. None of the florals I've chosen are difficult to get/more expensive (i.e. I've chosen "regular" roses rather than Juliet roses for centrepieces, and I'm willing to replace eucalyptus with Italian Ruscus. This does make a difference. My co-worker is having a wedding that's 1/3 of the size of ours (less centrepieces) but because she wants specific florals in them she is finding her quotes to be pretty high for the items she needs.

For $600 in the Baltimore area we're getting: bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnieres, 3 wrist corsages, and cake flowers. We saved $150 in delivery fess by picking them up ourselves.
