Florist price

ARIEL, on July 11, 2019 at 4:43 PM Posted in Style and Décor 2 18
Hi everyone! I’m trying to book my florist and just want to make sure that the price I was given seems like a great deal. My wedding is in Atlanta btw, I know location matters. So I get a bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, and 4 large aisle arrangements that will all be repurposed for the reception. So that comes with the vases for all the bouquets on the tables. And tall gold rectangular stands for the aisle arrangements. I will have a total of 14 tables so for the last 3 there will be 4 floating candles with greenery and rose petals around the table. I will also get multiple gold mercury votive candles at all tables. These will all be real flowers too (hydrangeas, spray roses, white roses, and smilax vines). Came to 1400 but with tax, set up, and delivery the total is 2 grand. I’m just so nervous because I was going to be DIY but realized that that is just not my lane and would like real flowers. So what do you think? It’s a 1,000 dollar non refundable deposit so it’s a big chunk of change. They have great reviews on here btw. The highest and most of all florist in Atlanta. Pics attached. Thank you!

I'm in Denver, so I'm not sure the price difference. I started with a quote for $2,100 (we've upped to $3,700) but the original quote included my bouquet, a toss bouquet, 9 bridesmaids bouquets, 13 boutineers, 3 corsages, aisle decor, and 15 small centerpieces. I did ask for a lot of greenery & babies breath, so that did make it cheaper, so it would depend on what flowers are included.

For Atlanta, that sounds good! I was quoted over $3k for personal and decorative flowers from a florist in Suwanee and about $2.5 for one in Cobb. I decided to rent artificial and do some DIY

I am doing the same extact style for our tables. I bought vases from the dollar tree for $1 a piece, Candles from Ikea for $1 a piece. I dont have as many things as you but I hope some of my numbers can help.

Vases $40, Candles $40 (3 per table, extras on head table)

    Bridal bouquet is $120

2 Bridesmaids bouqets are $60 each

Silver Dollar for 12 tables and head table is $102 (6 bunches)

Overall I would say you got a pretty good quote for the amount of things that you are getting. That would be a yes from me!

I also did similar centerpieces and bought my own vases and candles and just had my florist provide the greenery for around them which helped keep the cost down for me.

Yeah my mom just wanted to add more. Now it includes wedding party flowers, tall & short centerpieces, a few extra arrangements for things like our memorial table, etc., arch decor, aisle decor, sweetheart table decor, and beam decor.

I am letting them provide the vases only because renting those from them is cheap (like 12 bucks total for 6 vases) and I don't have to deal with having all these things after the wedding. Really love your centerpiece! looks like exactly the vibe I am going for so that makes me feel better

I told one florist my budget was 2k and she said she could definitely work with that and then sent me a quote for 5k. Then said for dropping some items and getting it to 3500 I would have to pay the full amount in 7 days........ over a year from my wedding.

More power to you! DIY just started seeming so daunting to me. Then I went to a funeral last week and it made me want real flowers (I know how random that sounds) so I changed my mind.
