That seems high for delivery and setup, unless the setup requires a lot of work. My delivery & setup fee is $175. But it doesn’t require a lot of intricate work either.

Like others have said, Floral Design costs can vary widely depending on where you live. That being said, our set up/tear down fee is 20% of our total costs, which ends up being around $650.

Our florist's set up fee was $825 and the breakdown fee was $400. The breakdown fee was a flat-fee for all full service weddings and the set up fee was a percentage of our total cost before labor and taxes.

It does seem a bit pricey but it depends on your area as well

Our florist doesn't have a set up or breakdown fee. She just asked what my budget and vision were and she worked with me! In total we're paying less than $1k for everything.

I told my florist I would spend $1,000 total, and that was it. I showed her what I wanted and she made it happen. I am not sure what the actual delivery and set up fee was, but she drove about 50 minutes to my venue, decorated our arch and assisted with decorating our tables.

I'm buying only one bouquet from the grocery store.

It's definitely area based and depends on how much you're ordering. Our quoted service fee is $460

My florist is driving from 2 hours away and doing intricate set up and building a arch on location and only charging 250! You need to see how much they are charging for mileage. Also see if they can pre assemble anything to cut down on cost. That’s a bit much girly.

UPDATE! That florist was insane! I found a florist that seems so much better than the lady giving me SO much more for my budget! She even showed me a bunch of fresh flowers she had in stock. I loved the design she offered much more than the other lady too! Don’t just go with the fish person you meet. Do yourself a favor,shop around. Because, really how many times do you get to plan your wedding? 🥰
