Hey everyone! When did you start looking at florists and book one? I'm about 11 months out.

I just booked mine today and my wedding is in less than 4 months! Lol I guess it depends but always good to do it sooner rather than later!

We booked 14 months out. We wanted someone who was reasonably priced and she was the only one in the area so we wanted to book her ASAP

We booked 10 months out. Our florist said knowing ahead of time what we want she can pre-order them and the flowers themselves would end up being less expensive.

We booked ours this past April, so about 15 months out. I knew what I wanted in regards to florals, so the only thing that will change on the quote will be the amount of table centerpieces if that changes from my estimate.

This is what one florist just told me. I'm off tomorrow so I am going to meet with her!

This was probably the right move. I have an idea of what I'd like to have so it's time to start meeting with them.

We booked ours at 6 months but that's because we went with a grocery store florist instead of an independent.

When we were considering a florist they recommended about 8-12 months out depending on time of year of the wedding! IMO it's always best, if you know who you want to go through, to book them as soon as you can!

We booked ours only 2 months out, however we are having a small wedding and found our florist through Instagram, a bigger business would probably need more notice.
