Floral Pricing

Hello there! I am in Chicago area, what would you say it would run me to get a bridal bouquet similar looking to this? Wedding is next June and I believe that peonies are in season then.

My friend is a florist and says says that I should expect to pay $1K for personal floral for that bouquet as well as 7 bridesmaid bouquets, plus all of the boutonnières, and corsages. I am totally okay with minimizing and using cheaper flowers for the bridesmaids or adding more greenery to the bouquets as a means to save money, but $1K or more still sounds pretty expensive and she said that she was hooking me up with a deal.

Thoughts on this? Or tips on how to modify and save?

This was my bouquet. The bridesmaids were similar, just smaller. We are in Denver. My bouquet was $130. Each bridesmaid bouquet was $80 (I had 9 bridesmaids). Each corsage (we needed 3) was $20. Each boutineer was $15 (we needed 13). So total for wedding party flowers was $1,105 before delivery.Floral Pricing 2

I paid $275 for my bouquet, $100 per bridesmaid bouquet, $40 per corsage, and $25 per boutonnière in Carmel, CA. So $1k sounds about right to me.

What is the size of your bouquet? What kind of flowers are in it? I realize that floral can vary heavily based on flower type, whether or not it’s in or out of season, the color, how it’s styled, etc

Garden roses look a LOT like Peonies and are much less expensive.

I’m in Chicago and was getting a lot of crazy high quotes from florists for simple red rose bouquets with some greenery and babies breath. I found a woman who doesn’t have a ton of reviews (but the ones she does have are positive and her pics look beautiful). She’s been easy to work with and super responsive. I’m paying about $550 for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 8 boutonnières, and 3 wrist corsages, and delivery to the northern suburbs. Yours seem more complicated than the rose bouquets I want, but it might be worth it to reach out: Design Studio Decor (*****@*****************.***)

I found almost that exact bouquet on kukka flowers. That picture was my inspiration as well. I only needed the smallest package and it is $400. Yours would probably only be a couple 100 more. The only thing is you have to put them together.

I don’t know where in Chicago you are but I definitely recommend Ds flowers in Glen Ellyn. He really works with your budget and is great at giving suggestions for looks that you are going for. I paid $136 for my bouquet that is going to be very similar to yours only that I am using ranunculus and is charging me $198 for 6 bridesmaid bouquets which will be a smaller version of my bouquets.

That bouquet is gorgeous! I say do a single stem for your BMs so you can splurge on that bouquet and STILL save money. 💡

I received multiple quotes for a similar design with peonies in white and green. It came to about $250-300 for the bridal bouq and $80-95 for bridesmaids. It looks like your inspiration photo doesn’t have peonies (sometimes it’s easy to confuse gard
