I don't like flowers.
I pretty much despise them.
Unless it's a hibiscus or crazy daisy, no thanks.
I was planning on ZERO flowers until I discovered paper flowers.
So now I kinda want comic book flowers in bouquet.
Would it be odd to just do a bouquet for me, a boutineer for the fiance, and flowers for moms, or should I just suck it up and pony out $200 for flowers and boutineers for everyone in the wedding party and parents?

It would be a little weird but not necessarily in a bad way. My mom was in a wedding once where they made broach bouquets! it was SO cool! The only problem with that is finding enough broaches to fill up a bouquet. lots of thrift store hunting!
Just imagine your BP pictures without bouquets. Do you think they would look totally bare or okay?

I think you can do whatever you want (which I hate when people say to me so now I'm annoyed saying it to you hahaha). But I'd say if you do it for the moms, I'd want to give the dads bouts too. And then you might as well do it for the whole bridal party. I'm considering doing corsages for the BM so you don't necessarily need bouquets for them. If you didn't want to do flowers for the whole bridal party, then I would only do your bouquet and his bout and not do flowers for the moms.

Haha. I understand. My go to is "thisnis your wedding, do what you want" and then I get caught up on tiny details myself.

Comic book flowers sound awesome! Are you having bridesmaids? Would they hold something non-floral (lantern, wreath, purse, greenery...?) or would they not hold anything? They could always hold a small posey of paper flowers, or of crazy daisies! hehe

Comic book flowers sound so fun! I think your whole bridal party should have something though...whether it's flowers or something else.
