Floral costs?

Jessica, on January 20, 2019 at 9:53 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
What is a reasonable budget for florals? I am thinking table centerpieces, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, bridal bouquet and some white flowers/green draping at altar. I have no idea what type of cost this usually is? What did you pay and which vendors?

That all depends on the season and flowers, and what area you live in. I am using a fake florals rent-and-return company and will be paying around $750 for everything based off of their current prices

Totally depends on the area and types of flowers. I paid $160 each for centerpieces. $100 each for bridesmaid bouquets. $275 for my bouquet.

My prices are in the same range as Kelly’s. We have tall centerpieces on the tables and seven BM bouquets and are budgeting close to $3,000. I really love flowers though so we knew all along this would be a big portion of our budget.

Wow I had no idea the costs were that much! I actually thought a $500 budget was enough. Do you think it is cheaper to just do alot simple greenery, like eucalyptus and baby's breath and only focus the flowers only on head table, altar and bridal bouquet?

Eucalyptus is extremely expensive. We paid $1600 for eucalyptus centerpieces on 10 rectangular tables. Not including delivery fees and taxes. Here’s a picture of what it looked like. We also had round tables with regular low centerpieces. I would look into grocery store flowers or I’ve also seen companies that deliver you stems and you do all the arrangements yourself that are cheaper. But I don’t think $500 will get you everything you want at a traditional florist.

Wow, I didn't know that about eucalyptus. Yours looked beautiful. I guess I will have to look into grocery store options and diy!

I had 14 tables, 4 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen, (Boutonnieres/bouquets) plus H and I and our altar for $2000. I had no specifics in mind, just colors and that I would like it to look fluffy (literally that's all I said) and thy showed me a couple of things which I thought would look most like us. It worked out great!

I spent under 400 but I got simple bouquets off Etsy. Having Venue do my center peices. Not a big flower girl.
