Floor length to tea length alterations?

Grace, on November 2, 2017 at 10:38 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 1

A few weeks ago I made a post about not liking my first dress. I decided to go to an appointment alone to try on the dress I couldn't stop thinking about, loved it and bought it.

I'm now considering changing it to a tea length dress with petticoat to fill it out. I'm realizing what I didn't like about the first dress was the strapless top mostly and wasn't thrilled with the knee length. I love love love the top on my new dress but I never pictured myself wearing a floor length dress, especially with a train, especially for a brunch wedding. I need to get it altered anyway, should I make it tea length or leave it alone and stop being fussy?

So happy to hear you found a dress that you love. It is a really pretty dress!!!!

As for altering it, maybe ask the seamstress for her opinion or see if she could pin it so you can get the feel of it as a tea length dress.
