Hi! I am sorry if this has been asked before, but would it be atrocious to write out the rsvp date and put the correct one? I read so many different places that 2-3 weeks was ok to get the RSVP cards, and our cater when we booked didn't tell us they need numbers a month in advance. I don't really want to print new cards!

How formal is your wedding? It can go either way. If it’s formal or even semi formal it could look tacky. Do you have pretty handwriting?

No it is definitely casual! Occasionally my handwriting is pretty, but it only 2 things I am changing! It is in Texas in the summer, so hot, groomsmen will be wearing boots and jeans, white button ups, and vests.

Did you choose 3 weeks out as your RSVP deadline? If so, that is only a week short of your caterers request. I would just ask if they can make 3 weeks work.

Can you push back on your caterer's request? It's really unlikely that they actually need hard numbers a month before your date.
