Fix for Saggy Boobs and Fat Arms?

AT, on August 17, 2021 at 4:37 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 26

I am really regretting going for such a tight fitting and body-revealing dress, but the wedding is in a month so I am stuck with the dress. At this point I just want to minimize my bad parts showing - I am considering a bridal cape or sweater or even just a long thick-fabric veil to cover the back of my arms at least. Any cute cover-up ideas or strapless bra recs to help hold the girls up? Thank you!

It's not a very clear picture but I think your arms look good. This is coming from someone who's very self-conscious about my arms and pays attention to them in every picture. However, if there's not enough bust support that can definitely be an issue on the big day. Have you asked your seamstress about possible solutions? Some dresses it's possible to sew in cups, for example.

Do not let your fiancé’s previous comments get inside your head! You look fantastic in this dress! If you are looking for extra cleavage, see if your seamstress can add push-up cups to your dress.

You look amazing! Many women would love to have your figure. I saw your previous about your fiance and he's frankly a jerk and you deserve so much better!!!!!! I think you need to rethink your fiance not the dress.

I think you look gorgeous and your arms and boobs are fine as they are! I don't think you need to do a thing! If you feel self-conscious about the dress slipping, I agree, ask for some cups to be put in to help keep the dress in place, or some of that rubbery stuff to better adhere to the skin.

Also, I'm also quite self-conscious about my arms (I think many people are!) and I've been doing a 10 minute workout every day for the last 7 weeks and I've definitely noticed they're a bit more defined and firmer. I'm not suggesting you need to do this - I personally think you have beautiful, elegant shoulders and arms.

But, doing this workout helped me feel like I was doing something to resolve that discomfort. I often find that having a plan and taking action can help you feel more in control and better about things, even if it doesn't have much impact, because you're doing SOMETHING, at least!

You have a great body for that dress! I would definitely not cover up. It does look like it’s sitting a little low and you are standing trying to hold it up - I did that with my dress before it was properly fitted in alterations. Maybe adding cups with a little padding might help? Or adding a spaghetti strap or off the shoulder strap might make you feel a little less exposed while not hiding such a great dress and figure??

A seamstress can work wonders with cups and swag sleeves or other types of shoulder options.

But hon, didn’t you write the post about being unhealthily skinny, gaining 30 pounds, and your fiancé recently put you down for it? You look GREAT. I think that conversation is messing with your perception of yourself. You are beautiful! Women work hard for a figure like yours!

Girl, you can drop a ton of excess weight right now by ditching the fiancé and finding someone who loves you unconditionally.

You look amazing but I understand wanting to feel confident—regardless of how other people think you look. I think a cape would look lovely if it would make you feel more confident.

I hope you and your fiancé are able to have some hard, honest conversations in couples therapy. You look stunning. You deserve to be loved, appreciated and supported.

Any cover up would be a disservice to your beautiful dress and beautiful body. You look flawless in it.

If you want a little more lift in the boob department, the seamstress should be able to help with some different padding, or just a little boob tape should do the trick. But none of that is necessary for appearance — you and the dress both look phenomenal as is.

Saggy boobs are the growth of a beautiful women and fat arms where??? All I see are beautiful arms to wrap around the ones you love the most. You look beautiful! That dress is beautiful and it looks great on you. Your seamstress can add in cups that will push those babies up to the sky; they have many cup styles.

Sis, you are serving body-ody-ody in that pic! You truly look fantastic. I know it's hard and we're our harshest critics, but seriously -- you honestly look incredible. Echoing what everyone else has said, your arms actually look great in this pic! I'm super self-conscious about mine, and if mine looked like yours, I'd be on cloud 9! As far as the boobs go, I think just getting some extra cupping or inserts put in there to hike everything up, and you'll see a big difference (but again, you look incredible, so I don't think you have anything to worry about regardless). I hope you're doing better since posting this!! You are gorgeous and that dress is absolutely everything, own it! :]

I think your unhappiness may be (at least in part) attributable to your other issues - and your FH's nasty comments. You look beautiful. Your dress looks amazing on you. Talk to your therapist about your feelings and show them a picture of you in the dress, hopefully they can help you find some techniques to love yourself.

Girl u look stunning! The dress doesn't make u! U make the dress! If ur fiance is willing to put u down before the wedding u might to rethink whom ur marrying (might only get worse) Ur arms look completely normal and not fat at all and if ur worried how ur breast look they make cups for the inside of the dress for support. Wedding dresses don't give enough support sometimes. I had to use them in mine.

I’m sorry you’re feeling all this pressure from your fiancé. You look great and the only thing I see that maybe could make this dress look even better on you I’d done cups for your breasts (easy fix).

My fiancé and brother both agreed that your FH is being mean 😪 I hope everyone’s comments here help you see how beautiful you look ❤️
