    Hi, and welcome!

It's odd that you use the term "first" marriage. Could you tell us more about your relationship?

    Well, that sounds wonderful, congrats!

DH and I haven't found marriage to be all that different from before - only that now we get to say, "husband" and "wife" and... also know that if things go bad, we're the "next of kin".

Honestly, if you have a good, strong relationship now, just keep doing what you're doing, and you'll be fine!

My concern is that you keep emphasizing "first" - as if you expect there to be more?

People only refer to their "first marriage" if they are getting married a second time.

Then just say "our wedding" or "our marriage".

Don't want your FH thinking he's just the trial run!
    Besides, less characters to type!

Goodness gracious, give the girl a break!
It is her first time getting married.

Coming from a bride who’s been married before and had a big wedding and am now planning a very intimate wedding, let me say you do you! And make sure your wedding and vows are special and fit you as well as your spouse to be! No matter how big or small. Choose what’s most important to put your time & efforts towards.
And just imagine and realize married life will most likely be like real life now.

I agree with the "first wedding" part its Your wedding and it makes it so special that he is your first true love. Girl you are lucky some of us went real hunting before finding the one. Lol

Good luck, enjoy wedding planning and I wish you a blissful, healthy, loving marriage.
