First look - veil or no veil?

I am shopping for veils online and realized that I am unsure about whether or not I want to have my face covered with the veil for the first look.

I know I want a simple 2 tiered veil for the ceremony, bc I do want to cover my face when I walk down the aisle for the ceremony... but I am undecided about it for the first look.

It will be the moment my FH sees me for the first time on our wedding day.

For those who had a first look- what did you do?

For those that are planning on wearing a veil for the first look- what are you doing??

I wouldn’t wear a veil for first look. Pull it over your face for the ceremony if you choose to

I wore a veil but not one that covered the face. I wore my veil for the first look because I wanted him to see the full effect. I think you shouldn't cover your face for the first look, but save that for walking down the aisle.

I meant I wouldn’t wear a blusher over my face for the first look. Pull it back for the first look then put it down before you walk down the aisle.

I am wearing my veil but it doesn’t have a blusher. I feel like I constantly say this but do what you want after getting advice from other people. No matter what you choose you won’t be wrong! Enjoy your day I am certain it will be beautiful!

Your right! I wanted opinions bc I wasn't too sure... but I think I'm not gonna wear the blusher for the first look. Just for the ceremony.

I am wearing my veil for my first look. Its really just personal choice, but thats what I want for the photos.

Maybe for the first look don’t have your veil covering your face. It will still be a little bit of a surprise to him so that you’ll get more of a reaction at the alter... giving you the first look twice.
