First Look photos-rings?

I personally do not thing anyone will notice or care if you do not have them in these photos. I think we wont be wearing ours.

Our first look photos wouldn't really have shown our bands. We had one photo together before the ceremony where my ring happened to feature, but it's not close enough that anyone would notice my band wasn't there.

We will be wearing our e-rings but not the bands. After the ceremony we will take couples sunset pics with our bands.

We didn't wear our wedding bands in our first look photos. As PPs have said, the rings weren't the focus of our photos.

We are doing a first look as well, we might take a couple photos with our bands though just in case you can see the rings! But we will do some pictures at the reception as well

No, I just wore my e-ring. There was really only one picture out of our entire first look shoot that showed I was wearing my e-ring (because of the angle the picture was taken from). All the other pictures from it really didn't make it obvious whether we were wearing rings.

What I loved was the candidate picture our photographer got of me putting DH's ring on during our ceremony.

There were plenty of candid pictures from our reception where DH's ring were visible. There isn't a single picture after the ceremony where you can tell I now have a band on, so I really don't think it matters whether you wear your band during your first look. Unless your band is the size of a ring pop, it won't stand out in pictures.

I think FH will have his band on in our photo's. We are doing a first look and I would like him to wear his just in case you can see it.

Thank you all. I was more concerned or thinking about during the pictures we will take with our bridal party etc before the ceremony as well. I did kinda assume as well that it won't be that noticeable. I was thinking it just may be noticeable on my FH. I agree the ceremony shots of putting rings on for the first time will be special!

Never even thought about that... but no. First looks are obviously done prior to the ceremony. The ceremony is when you exchange rings... so I don't think it makes sense to wear them for the first look.

Honestly never even thought of that! I suppose we wont be wearing our hands since we won't be married yet

I had my engagement ring on but no wedding band. I'm not a fan of ring pictures and none of the shots were close ups of our hands.

We are doing first look photos and I think we will wear our rings. Our first look will start out with just us and we don't need our wedding bands then... as those photos will be us doing the actual first look. After that, we will move into all the family photos (still before the ceremony)... so I think when we have our bridal party... it would make sense to have our bands on. We'll have some more photos after the ceremony... but we're knocking out most of the formal photos before hand. To us... it makes sense to use our bands for all the formal photos with our bridal party and family.
