First Look Photo Shoot Locations - Long Island

Hey all! If anyone here is on LI, where did you have your wedding day photo shoot? We were planning on having it at Bayard Arboretum, which is right by our venue, but because it's Memorial Day weekend they won't let us due too high volume of guests at the park, so we're pretty disappointed. We want it to be semi close to the venue, which is in Great River, and also obviously have great scenery. I was hoping for some color, and not just all greenery. We can't seem to find a place. Any suggestions?

    @GreeneBunny - The venue is in Great River, at Timber Point Mansion (Suffolk). Old Westbury is too far unfortunately Smiley sad

    @GreeneBunny Haha! Yeah I know Avalon. A friend of mine did her wedding pictures there too and they're really nice. Not as much color as we wanted, but there may be more in May since we checked it in early spring when not everything was in bloom yet.

    Maybe the Peconic Herb Farm or a vineyard with lots of wildflowers such as Martha Clara? There's also this beautiful field of sunflowers in East Moriches.
