First look. Or first touch

We didn't do either. We were just married on Saturday and I'm so glad we didn't do either. It was so sweet and emotional that the first time I saw him was when we were getting married. I didn't think I would think so and was thinking of doing a first look but I'm so glad we didn't!

We are doing a 1st look to get most of our pics out of the way, pushing a Fri ceremony to later in the day n to be a little less stressed.

I'm with @ambrok I also want to take time to take pics and enjoy with the rest of the guests when they get there. But I want to surprise him when he sees me walking down the aisle with the veil on. Oh the romance!

I'm hoping I'm going to sleep and somehow I'll wake up with the answer. Lol

@ Heather that's so funny. Adam suggested the same exact thing. I went on Pinterest and saw some First look photos with dad. I was tearing up they are precious!!

I considered a first look. FH vetoed it real quick. He's very traditional. Wants to see me for the first time while I'm walking down the aisle. :-)

First touch! It's a lovely happy medium It's what we did and I totally don't regret it.

I wanted a first look, FH didn't, so we agreed on a first touch (plus his mom wants those cute and cheesy pics of us holding hands around a door...)

I did a first look and I recommend it to my couples. It was my favorite part of my wedding day, feeling super excited and giddy to see my soon to be husband after hours apart getting ready. It's a really intimate moment I've seen first touches that are very sweet as well. Here's what I tell couples about first looks:

I highly recommend a "first look" for my couples getting married! Seeing each other during a "first look" before the ceremony is a very special and intimate moment shared with just the couple, and it can help ease some nerves before the ceremony. I promise... Doing a "first look" does not make the walk down the aisle any less special! Additionally, doing a "first look" will also allow for taking more group photos (photos of the couple, photos of the bridal party, and family photos if family members have arrived early) before the ceremony, so there are less photos to take after the ceremony, and you can get back to celebrating more quickly!

Im considering 1st touch with a prayer but still not sure

I'm going to do the first look with my dad. FH did not want a first look. Plus my dad and I are really close - so it will be a special moment since I am his only daughter

We'll be doing a first touch. FH was adamant he doesn't want to see me before I go down the aisle, but I know it'll help calm my nerves to at least hear his voice and hold his hand for a second!

We did first look and I am very glad we did. My husband got misty eyed and it was a lovely moment with just us and the photographer. I don't think we would have had that emotional moment walking down the aisle. Plus we took pictures for 1.5 hours before the ceremony and took advantage of the daylight.

Ahhh we have a lot to think about and consider. I'm the only daughter as well so a first look w my dad would be soecial

We are leaning towards first look to get a lot pictures out of the way and then be able to enjoy the reception with our guests.

First look..FH husband said hell no. He said he wants to have that shock value (eye roll) first touch I'm hoping I can change his mind on that one...I think its beautiful. This type of photo with a prayer is awesome

I'm considering a first touch, but lately I've been leading towards exchanging letters - one of my BMs would deliver mine to him and one of the GMs would deliver his to me. I'm still undecided though.

We are going to do a first look. I want to be able to take all of the pictures beforehand so that the rest of the day is not rushed and we get to enjoy our cocktail hour. I get very stressed if my schedule gets thrown off, so trying to get all the photos we want done during cocktail hour would stress me out. All of cousins have done first looks and told it is the best decision they made.
