First dance

Whose actually doing a choreographed dance? Me and FH are not, he doesn’t dance, we are just going to dance like a middle school dance lol! I don’t think people will notice. I’m not going to make FH learn to dance. But wondering who else is just going to sway back and forth like us!

We swayed back and forth aha. Our best man at his wedding did this totally choreographed dance. I think if we did that I would have been too nervous to remember the steps

My FH does not dance, in fact he's pretty terrible lol !

My mother gifted us some free dance lessons and we've taken them. Though it's not necessary in the slightest, I would recommend leaving some extra cash in your budget to take at least two classes. (Even if they're group classes and not private lessons)

The Instructor was able to give us two very simple steps that we're practicing and she also helped us with some general moves that will wow our guests. My FH has worked really hard because even those two moves were a challenge for him so it'll make it a moment for all of his friends and family to really be wowed.

I was at a wedding where the couple just swayed and that's fine as well. Just make sure you sway to the beat because one of the swaying couples at this wedding was swaying way too fast for the song and it was really awkward to watch.

We did not do a choreographed dance. We just swayed back and forth. It was actually pretty awkward because the song seemed like it took forever to finish. Looking back I may have asked the DJ to let people join us on the dance floor or picked a shorter song.

We are doing a choreographed dance. We did a 15x private lesson bundle, which includes 2x group dance. The one group dance we will do our dance in front of other dancers so we have a better feel of having all eyes on us.
Honestly, 15x was a bit much. 12x would have been perfect, but we are learning some other dance steps that we can use throughout the wedding reception. Also, FH is now talking about continuing to do lessons once a month as he enjoys them.

Right I feel like no one cares or watches the dance lol as long as I get a good photo! Luckily I dnt have a videographer so it won’t be recorded and there’s no outside photography allowed. It’s too late for dance lessons I’m getting married in 6 weeks!! Eeeek! We will just sway the best sway there ever was lol

Ours is semi-choreographed but it's a country two step so more just whenever my fiance wants to spin me he can in whatever way we learned. We took 5 lessons and I took one with my dad. We just thought it was super fun but pretty much every wedding I've been to has just swayed!

Ours will be choreographed. My fh and I actually met again dancing and it is something we love doing. Since we both have done ball room type dances before we will be able to choreograph it ourselves.

We’re doing choreographed. We’ve had one dance lesson so far out of 8 we plan to take. It’s a lot of fun learning together and every time we go practice on our own, FH goes from grumpy to happy. I’d say it’s worth it!

Were taking a dance lesson, it won’t be a full choreographed dance, but we’ll at least know steps and will look coordinated and put together. I want to make sure we have nice photos and memories and not feel awkward at all that day.

I wouldn’t think anything involving my FH and I would feel awkward. But that’s just a preference. We have 6 weeks left to start practicing our perfect sway

Nothing involving your FH and you should be awakened to begin with, dancing whether choreographed or not shouldn’t be awkaward lol I’ll just tell jokes and we can both laugh with each other
