We're using "Everything I need" by Skylar Grey (Probably the movie version of Aquaman) for our official first dance, but coming into the reception we'll be playing Junkie XL's version of "Come Together" from Justice League (we're really big DC fans lol).
My fiance suggested that we have a music date night. We are going to listen to different music together, have some wine/beer and pick out our songs for the big day!
My FH chose the song. We are doing a slow dance to "She's Got a Way" by Billy Joel. After I listened to the lyrics, it is very fitting. We still need to practice since we never go dancing
We will be slow dancing to an oldies song and have it “mess up “ to mix into a a cumbia tejana song. Here’s an example of how you dance to tejanas however we probably won’t be so ornate. :-)
We danced a waltz to Time in a bottle by Jim Croce, an instrumental played by our musicians. The music a favorite of my husband. Then Dad and I asked all to join in on an instrumental of Ashokan Farewell, another waltz, and favorite of my father and I.

I LOVE Bob Marley! My fiance and I have been thinking to have a reggae song for our first dance. I feel like reggae is perfect for if you don't want to have a choreographed dance!
I just went to youtube to watch the dance and listen to the song and this is absolutely beautiful!! I am sure it will be so magical to witness. Are you wearing a big ball gown like the movie?
In my wedding dreams, I’ve wanted to dance to “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green. However, a close childhood friend had her first dance to that song. I did shed a tear at her wedding because I have such an attachment to that song (in her defense she didn’t know I wanted it). We still might dance to it, but currently FH and I are thinking of others.
