First dance

Hey ladies! So my new dilemma;
First dance.
My FH and I are torn between doing the traditional slow, romantic first dance to our ‘song’ and a hip/cute choreographed dance to some pumped up songs. We are doing a last dance at the end of the evening but that’s pretty intimate and everyone will be outside preparing for our sparkler send off while we do this. Can y’all give me some input? Did y’all do one or the other and later regretted not doing the opposite? My mom seems to think people enjoy watching a slow romantic first dance but I truly do not know which one I prefer, at this point. HELP!

    I did the slow first dance and loved it. It felt very intimate and I really did feel like it was only just us in the room.

    Why not both? Start out with the slow dance and then go right into a faster one?

    Unless you are both REALLY good dancers and/or willing to work hard on a choreographed routine, I haven't experienced this being a great option. I've seen it a couple times, and from a guest's perspective, it can be pretty painful to sit through. Personally, I prefer a more heartfelt first dance.
