I see what you mean. Maybe foxtrot? You could try some dances on your own to see what fits the meter before teaching him.

Hmm I don't know then. I had my song choreographed by a professional at a studio. That's what we did and it was a lot of fun. It sounds like you already know a lot though so you'd probably only need a lesson or two.
