I originally wanted "One" by U2, or the acoustic version of "Everlong" by The Foo Fighters. He vetoed both of them saying that they are bad songs?!

I almost ended the engagement right there (but not really)! But those songs are both amazing.

Ours is "Beautiful in White" by Westlife.

Have you thought about songs by Firehouse? Like "Love of a Lifetime" and "When I Look Into Your Eyes"? Definitely is rock.

Ours is "Take the World" by Johnnyswim. The first time I played it for FH he teared up and didn't even want to listen to any of the other options we had picked out.

We struggled for longest time to pick because I suggested a bunch of older country love songs that FH didn't care for and then somehow we have recently decided on "Thinking out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. FH wanted it more than I did but it was really the only time he liked a song enough to suggest it so I decided to let him have the final say on it.

We are thinking Dream a little dream of me by Dory Day. There are several versions but I like this version the most to dance to

We have been having the hardest time agreeing on a song and it's really frustrating. So far, the song we have come closest to deciding on is "Steady as We Go" by Dave Matthews Band.

I think this is one of my favorite conversation topics (and walking down the aisle songs).

@Melissa - I'm planning a private dance for after our last dance. The DJ will empty out the reception to get our guests ready for our exit and we will have a private dance just the two of us before we leave. I chose 'Then' for that.

ETA: As for ours, it's actually a cute story. We were watching Lip Sync Battle in bed and John Legend was on. Neither of us had heard of him, so we looked him up on YouTube on my phone. All of me was the first song that came up, so we hit play and then we couldn't breathe. When the song was over, we looked at each other with tears in both our eyes, and he said 'that's it. That's the song I want to dance with you to on our wedding day.

We will dance to "Inevitable" by Anberlin

We are doing "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds. It's one of the few things FH feels strongly about.
