First Dance Songs

I've never seen a first dance to "here comes the bride" ... but for our minimony we did our first dance to Brian McKnight- Love of my life. & for our big wedding it'll be Case- Happily ever after

So for our first dance the DJ used a song that I recorded from Iron and Wine when I was at their concert.

My husband and bridal party walked in to an instrumental of "Amber" by the band 311, and I walked to a string quartet version of "All of my Love" by the mighty Led Zeppelin

Our first dance song was Yours by Russell Dickerson. We've seen him in concert multiple times and every time my husband would sing it to me in my ear as we slow danced to the song so we knew that was the perfect song. I didn't want down the aisle to Here Comes the Bride. I walked down the aisle to Canon D. That is the song my mom always envisioned me walking down the aisle so I surprised her by picking that song to walk down the aisle to. She couldn't have been happy with my choice.

I'm opting out of the first dance and walking down the aisle.

Our first dance is going to be Free by Zac Brown Band. It’s a little different I think, I’ve never actually heard it being used at anyone’s wedding. For the walking down the aisle song, I’m walking down to an instrumental version of Perfect by Ed Sheeran.

Our first dance song is Lie to me by Kem and I’m walking down the aisle to Steady Love by India Arie. The walk song is how I feel about him and Kem’s song is how he feels about me.

Ours is Florence and the Machine’s cover of Stand By Me

I walked down to a violinist and cellist duet of "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran, and our first dance was "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. Yes both are Ed Sheeran songs cause we like him, haha.

We're dancing to Heaven by Kane Brown. For the ceremony, I'll be walking down to I'm Kissing You by Desree. I may change it. If I do, it'll be to Best Part by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R.

Soo many great songs and ideas. I have no idea what my bridesmaids will be walking down, but I plan to walk down to One Summers Day by Joe Hisaishi and our first dance song be Sparrows by Cory Asbury.
