First Dance Songs?

My dad and I are dancing to Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison! It’s always been our song since I was little. Plus it’s a little more fun and upbeat which I wanted instead of super slow

View Quoted Comment I’m actually not sure! I don’t think FH wants a dance with FMIL and it hasn’t been brought up at all, I wish I had a song to recommend for you though! There are so many beautiful songs about mothers out there!

I am thinking I'll dance to I Love Her First by Heartland. I have been using my commute time to listen to tons of music trying to find songs for the wedding and this one came on this morning. I ugly cried. It's so fitting for me and my dad. I called my FH and his first question was "are you okay" because I sounded upset lol. I'll let my dad have input, but I think that's the one!

We haven't quite figured out the Mother/Son dance yet.

My dad passed, my mom didn't want the attention on her, so I danced with my teenage son to "My Wish" - Rascal Flatts. H danced with his mother to the worst song ever but she was insistant "wind beneath my wings"
