First Dance Song

No, absolutely no one else had a difficult time picking a first dance song. Its just you.

We had originally picked Today by Brad Paisley but then during a road trip a few months back the song Say You Won't Let Go (by James Arthur) came on the radio and we both looked at each other and knew it was perfect.

@LB When I said difficult I meant that there was so many options we liked and couldn't decide.

Still haven't decided. Might go with Adam Lambert's if I had you but FH isn't sure he wants a fast first dance. I'm going to suggest to him Secrets by One republic. We both love it and if he doesn't think the lyrics suit us there are very pretty intrumental versions.

@Rachel I am sure if a couple doesn't have a specific song to call theirs this is a difficult decision for sure! It seems to be the popular choice for first dance songs but "thinking outloud" has been our song since before it became popular. We are going to use "I choose you" by Sara Bareilles during our sand ceremony.

I get married in 47 days and I still haven't picked my song. That's very creative! Love it!

H and I couldn't agree for the longest time but we both love Billy Joel and decided on Just the way you are. Which wasn't what either of us wanted in the beginning so we both compromised and we think it worked out great!

No trouble at all. We were out 1 night with friends after about a month of dating. One of most favorite songs came on & he looked at his friend and said, this is going to be our wedding song. 8 years later, it's our wedding song

We aren't doing a first dance but it took us soooo long to decide on the music for our ceremony (which includes one of my BFFs playing an arrangement of Han and Leia's love theme from Star Wars on violin, i am a very accommodating partner)

That was one of the few things we had 0 questions about. One of our first dates (and several since) involved getting a bit tipsy, turning on Harry Connick Jr Radio on Pandora, and dancing in socks on my coffee table (don't judge me). One song always seems to get us up and dancing - Sway - and it does not matter who is singing it. So it will for sure be that song, now we have to choose which version!
