First dance song?

You should do whichever song you connect with the most in spite of other people using it . For example, I’ll be walking down the aisle to A thousand years by Christina Perri even though I’ve been to several weddings during which people used the same song.

I’ll be doing my first dance to Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kina Grannis (Crazy Rich Asians) even though I have a feeling it’ll be a popular wedding song this year.

I’m doing perfect because I’m in love with it even if it’s overplayed!

Not gonna lie, definitely considered flashlight! Others I was considering were "Overjoyed" by matchbox 20, "Do it all for you" Somo, "aquaman" walk the moon, and I think we are gonna use "as you are" by daughtry.

You should definitely do whichever song you want and if that song is special to you, I’d say use it! I personally don’t like to use songs that are super popular, but to each their own. Our first dance will be to the acoustic version of Everlong by Foo Fighters and the groom and groomsmen want to walk down the aisle to The Avengers theme song haha.

Both are great choices!! However, if you really really still want to do Perfect, maybe you could do a cover of it? It'd still be your song, but it would sound different enough. It's popular enough too that I'm sure plenty of cover artists will have done their own renditions of it

I'm also doing Perfect by Ed Sheeran! It probably is a little overplayed but for us it feels like the song was written just for us. So we're not changing it. I would pick whatever song you guys connect with.

Like a PP, We are doing "Can't help falling in love" for our first dance. When we were dating early on, I would always sing this song to him just casually. It quickly became one of our favorites. Who cares if it is played too much. Ultimately, you should pick a song that will forever make you smile.

We're dancing to "With You I Am" from Cody Johnson because what we have is something he always wanted and that was our first country concert together. I wanted to dance to 'A Million Dreams' but that song didn't fit us as much. I'm walking down the aisle to 'I See the Light' from 'Tangled' because it's a special song to us.

Pick whatever song (popular or not) that fits you both best.
