First Dance Song

The lead singer of blue october, Justin furstenfeld, did an acoustic version of their song “calling you” and that’s what we danced to not country unfortunately lol

We’re doing the first dance version of Lover by Taylor Swift. It’s cliche at this point, but I’m a huge Swiftie and FH loves that song. 😂

I think your first dance song should have meaning for you and FH, whether it be a cliche, obscure or 'over done'. It's your dance to celebrate being a married unit now. So - the first dance FH and I ever had together was to Frank Sinatra's "All the Way". That is going to be our first dance song as Mr. and Mrs. Personally, I don't care what anyone else thinks.

Girl! Me too! Grant it, I have awhile, but I don’t know like at all. I don’t really like a lot of the “classic” songs, or I just flat out don’t know them. I thought about doing a meaningful upbeat song.

We are doing Thank God by Kane Brown

Our main choices that we haven’t decided on are Stillman’s cover of Hanging By a Moment (Lifehouse) or Isabella Kensington’s cover of Still Into You (Paramore). I love rock, punk, alternative, etc. and these covers are smooth and beautiful! It does the lyrics justice too!

We did The Bones by Marin Morris but had the dj cut it down to half length. The other one we considered was Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us by Starship (Mannequin soundtrack version which is different from the studio version), again would have been cut in half.

Hi, have you heard the song 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran? It's a beautiful romantic song and the best for dancing at the wedding ceremony.

My husband and I met by chance at a bar, so our first dance was to "At The End of a Bar" by Chris Young. It went over very well, even for those that were not country music fans.
