I’ve always wanted my first dance song to be “This I Promise You” by *NSYNC. But whenever I tell people that’s what I want our first dance song to be I get a kind of negative reaction. Is this not a good first dance song? Like am I missing something?

As long as it’s a song that your FS wants also, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks nits your song.

As others have stated, if your FS is onboard then go for it. It's your day, but not only that. It's literally your song! If they don't like it they don't have to use it when they get married.

That's a beautiful song! Some people might think it's cheesy just because it's by a 90s boy band, but who cares? This decision really is all about what you and your FS want, as long as you're not picking a 10-minute long song or something full of f-bombs, it doesn't affect your guests in any way!

That’s a great song. Ignore the haters and do what makes you happy! There is no right or wrong first dance song- it’s whatever’s meaningful to you and your FH.

That is an amazing song and I think it sounds like a perfect first dance song! Plus, no one will remember your first dance song except for you two, so you should just make sure you both love it.
