First Dance Song

That's going to be our first dance song! It was originally going to be I Can't Help Falling In Love With You, but after we heard Lover we decided on it instead. I think it's a sweet song! We'll still play the other song, but it's used in almost every wedding so we thought it was nice to mix it up a bit! Do whatever you want, you and your FH are going to remember your first dance song the rest of your lives, not anyone else.

If you and your fiance love it then thats all that matters. It's not your sisters wedding, it's yours.

I think it's a perfect song, especially if it describes you both. The wedding version she put out is even more beautiful than the original.

I came here because I have the same question! The first time I heard it, I was in the car with my fh and I told him I wanted the song at our wedding. But now I am questioning it a little. For the people asking why it may be inappropriate, I think it's the word "lover" and the part about the dirty jokes. I think the word "lover" is used innocently in the song but I do think about what others may think. Mainly older people who are not familiar with the song. Overall, I think it's a beautiful song!
