I think it's a great song for a first dance! It has great sentimental value to you, so I think you should use it.

It's a lovely song. No one will be thinking that deep - believe me. Dance to what makes you and FH happy. It's not like your dancing to "99 Problems" or "The Thong Song." - LOL!

I read an article a little while ago that talked about the most common regrets brides/grooms have after their wedding - one of the items on the list was that they didn't use the song they really wanted for their first dance because it wasn't the typical "first dance song". USE THIS SONG! it is a special moment between you and your spouse that you will remember for ever. I guarantee your family and friends won't remember your first dance 10 years down the road but you will! My FH were in the same predicament and we are using a song that is very meaningful to us and don't care what people think.

I think it's a good song and she has a beautiful voice. It has meaning to you both and it's not one of her "crazy time" songs. Miley has had several different public images and they weren't all "crazy.".

Go for it!! It's a beautiful song! I'm using a song by Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. My dad and I used to listen to Billy Ray Cyrus every morning when he was taking me to school, and their song together just felt right. I never even thought since it was Miley Cyrus it would give off a crazy, wild vibe since that's not how the song sounds.

Ugh I love Miley. Living vicariously through you.
