HI all, new to the forums. We just booked our venue and are getting started with the process. Although this is probably the last thing I should be thinking about, it is a fun task so I want to get started sooner than later. My FH and I want our wedding to be fun, quirky, and have unexpected surprises because it represents our whole relationship lol. SO, we are doing a first dance that will bust out into a fun Kung Fu fight scene incorporating a few Bridesmaids, Groomsmen and my daughter. Has anyone done anything like this before and did you come up with everything yourself? record audio and sound effects or what? I have no idea where to start. Maybe share your experience if you've done something like this?

You guys sound so fun! We are doing a missing speech skit. My son pretends to forget the copy of the speech and leaves the venue with his sisters. Cue the video, my son and two daughters go on a few adventures to get home and back with the speech. The kids recorded the video when my son was home on leave from the Navy and had a blast doing it. They all dresses up in bridesmaid dresses and the Navy uniform and ran around town to record bits and pieces. I can't wait to share with my FH and family.

My FH and I are doing a fun romantic dance with lifts, spin, tango, etc. We are just taking little pieces from YouTube videos we like (like the dance move) and putting it all together with our own music and practicing a ton at home. same with my BM's and my surprise dance to FH.

Future Mrs D - OMG, that is going to be amazing!!! Sounds fun. I know your family is going to love it! Thanks for sharing.

@Kristin Oh of course!! We each have 5 BM and GM, but only 2 or 3 are actually participating. I wouldn't do that to anyone that didn't want to.

@MnmsMonique - hahahahaha!!! YES, we definitely will be incorporating that. I love that song.
