My FH is a firefighter and I am an RN, we are having a firefighter/nurse themed wedding. I have a lot of the details worked out already such as our wedding is taking place at the fire hall in front of the antique fire truck, I will arrive to the ceremony on a fire truck just before I walk down the aisle, all the bouquets have a Maltese cross charm as well as a Caduceus charm on them, the flower girl is riding a fire truck pedal car down the aisle her basket is a nurses cap and my ring bearer is wearing a miniature turn out outfit. My FH will wear his class A uniform as will all the other firefighters in the wedding. What I'm lacking is some readings. Any suggestions to tie our theme together? Any other ideas to tie the nursing into all of this?
