Finished my veil!

This thing is massive... It's a cathedral length, and probably 6 feet wide. I machine appliqued all the lace, then painstakingly trimmed every outer edge. I totally understand why appliqued veils are sooooo expensive.

Total cost:
Veil $30 from jjshouse
Lace $50 various Etsy sellers
Organza Ribbon $12 Amazon ( I decided I hated it)
Time probably 15 hours, over prepping appliques, sewing, pinning, and triming.

I love it so much because it goes with the unique lace on my dress.

That is very pretty and matches your dress really well! I wouldn't have had the patience to spend that much time doing that. I bought a custom-made flower lace veil, and we're paying my seamstress to add beading and crystals to it so the veil matches the beading on the bodice of my dress.
