Fingertip or elbow-length veil?

Cassie, on February 13, 2015 at 7:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7

I cannot decide what length to go with. How did you ladies decide what length veil to wear? Thanks!

I just like the look of the long veils better, cathedral or chapel. I feel like the shorter the veil the more old school it looks haha so id vote for fingertip.

I went with the veil they put on my head. It is fingertip length and perfect! I have so much detailing on my back that if it was shorter, it would have gotten in the way.

Mine is fingertip length. Like Vanessa, I just went with the one that my consultant at the bridal shop put on me when I tried on my wedding dress. I love it, though, it's so pretty!

I think I am going to have to try them on with my dress. It's hard to tell without actually seeing them on so maybe you should do the same!

I'm going fingertip length. The main reason is that when I was trying on my dress and that put a fingertip length on me, I noticed my arms and shoulders were kept warm. Spring in Northern CA can definitely be cool and my dress has straps but no sleeves.

Try on a couple of different styles and lengths with your dress. I personally went with a waltz-length veil, because it didn't overpower my dress. It really depends on your dress style.

I wanted to be a bride on steroids- so I wore a long cathedral length veil that dragged like a train, it had big lace trim on it with pearls and swavorski crystals sewn on Smiley smile
