Fingertip or Cathedral Veil??

Originally I thought I wanted a cathedral veil. But now, I’m wondering if my dress would look better with a fingertip veil! The tulle is already really romantic on its own. What do you guys think?

I would definitely do a cathedral veil. I think a fingertip would end around where the lace is on the skirt and it wouldn’t look right.

I would go with a fingertip veil. I feel like a cathedral veil would take away from the dress.

I love the drama of a cathedral length veil! It just so fun and it's gorgeous in pictures. Fingertip is much more practical and you could probably wear it all night. I think your dress would be nice with both though!!

I was able to try one on at the shop and it didn’t look awkward, but I’m not sure if it’s the look I want!

First off, you look STUNNING! Secondly, I think a cathedral veil will only add to the romance! That being said, I’m sure either one would look great.

Good points! I think I’ll have to wait and see what it looks like when I’m able to try the dress on in September.

I personally love fingertip veils and am going to wear one. I don’t want to worry about how it will flow or it getting caught up in my train as I’m walking.

Thank you!! I’m so excited to get it in ivory. Even though I’m super pale I surprisingly loved the look of ivory VS this darker blush color.

Absolutely gorg in that dress and honestly I think you can do both. Just see what it looks like with both and choose the one that makes you look the best.

Cathedral or chapel length veil, plain so it doesn't take away from the back of the dress.

I think a fingertip veil would take away from the float romantic feeling of the dress because it cuts off where so much of your detailing is. I think the cathedral would just excentuate the romantic aspect of this dress!

I like fingertip length, I think cathedral length is very cumbersome. My sister did a cathedral length and as her MOH, I was fluffing her veil and train all day, and it was annoying AF. Super high-maintenance to have a cathedral veil.

Good point! Did she take the veil off for the reception?

Your dress is gorgeous! I love cathedral and fingertip so I had both lol cathedral for ceremony and fingertip for reception. I think either one would look great with your dress.
