Finest vs Excellence

My FH and I are about to book our honeymoon and we are stuck between two resorts. My FH wants to go to Finest Playa Mujeres and I want to go to Excellence Playa Mujeres. I have seen quite a few posts of Excellence, but not a whole lot on Finest. Has anyone experienced these resorts? TIA❤️

So my wedding is at Finest this year or supposed to be I should say. Excellence is adults only. Finest is family friendly but has an adults only section (excellence rooms). Honestly both seem great, just depends what you want. I went for Finest because it had more to offered and I can still have my adults only areas..

Thanks Wendy! I usually would not care about the adults only portion, but I feel it’s a must for our honeymoon! I will look into the adults only area at Finest😊

Yeah, as Wendy said, they're both the same company. Finest is the family friendly resort, while Excellence is adults only. They also have a boutique resort right next door to Excellence Playa Mujeres called Beloved. My parents went there the year after they went to Excellence Riviera Cancun and they said it was phenomenal. It's couples only and a lot more quiet.

I haven't been to either of those, but I can totally vouch for Secrets Playa Mujeres. It's amazing and also adults-only.
