Finding the venue

Ugh 😩 so one of the problems we’re running into is finding a venue that is truly all inclusive. There’s many places that are like hotels that are all inclusive. They do everything but the food is terrible. I’m a retired chef but I am not interested in catering my own Wedding of 100 people so let me just get that out of the way.


We’re looking at wanting to do a winter wedding but over 2/3 of the places we’ve looked at that meet Our criteria are like oh we don’t do weddings in December so I’m kind of frustrated now because it feels like we’re running out of options now that we’ve set a date. Another thing we’re getting a snag on is a lot of like really awesome places are not friendly for people who have disabilities like they get ready room for the bride is up a flight of stairs, but there’s no elevator. Or it’s a historical building and there’s no ADA modification even to get in the building so it’s frustrating. Any help or recommendations is greatly appreciated. Another problem running into is also some of the venues we found on in Minneapolis are really put off by the fact that it’s a military wedding and we’ve had several caterers turn us down for that too so we’re wondering is there an issue and we just don’t know it?
