Finding the Perfect Venue

Hello! We are looking for the perfect venue within driving distance of Dayton, Ohio. Our ideal location would have a beautiful natural atmosphere ie flowers, trees, water features. How do you go about finding a beautiful location like this when you don't have a connection with farmland? Thanks!

I would check blogs or farms in your area. I know in my area there are some barns that specialize in weddings.

Great idea. I hadn't thought of looking through blogs for possible leads. I have found several barn locations in the area so fingers crossed one will be a good fit!

I love Hocking but it's about a 2 hour drive for me. That may be an unreasonable drive to ask of my guests and vendors unfortunately. Thanks for the input though!

I agree with the previous poster about looking up blogs. One of my favorite venues is the Franklin Psrk Conservatory. I thibk thats about an 70 minute drive from Dayton.

Check out The Wolf Creek Retreat in Brookville! It's about 20 minutes from Dayton!! We're getting married here on May 1st and it's absolutely stunning! They have gorgeous flowers, plenty of land and a fountain in the middle of the lake!

Hi everyone! Thanks for your input! After viewing several venues we booked with The Buckeye Barn. It's beautiful, close to home and the hospitality of the owner was unmatched. Good luck in your searches!
