Finding a ceremony location

Tripadvisor has some wedding chapels listed. The search for chapels in California is not as easy as searching for Las Vegas chapels though.

I did look some up, but their pricing is outrageous! 2k and only 5 people allowed to attend.

Have you searched under officiants where they might have an office they can do ceremonies in?The other thing suggested is community centers. How many people were you considering? One couple found a coffee shop closed on Sundays that they got for their reception or maybe with the ceremony too.
