Finally (!!) picked first dance song!

That's awesome! H got me listening to Huey Lewis all the time! That's a great song! We had a few of their songs as part of our pre-ceremony playlist.

That's a great song For my fiancé and I it was kinda easy. We heard Say You Won't Let Go by James Author and knew it was one of two songs, the other being Perfect by Ed Sheeran. We haven't fully decided after a year but we know it will be one of these.

LOL, they're our recessional music too; "The Power of Love" because FH is a huge Back to the Future fan! Such upbeat and fun music, so it had to be part of our day!

I love your choice - congratulations.

We were going to use Al Green's "Real Love" but we wanted to do the Rhumba (not "Dancing with the Stars" rhumba, more of a classic rhumba) for our first dance and it just didn't work. I then realized that one of my favorite songs that always made me think of my husband would be perfect and the lyrics really tell our story. We used "Best Thing That Ever Happened" by Gladys Knight and The Pips. We then switched to Chuck Berry's "You Never Can Tell."

Yay! It's so exciting getting songs nailed down. Luckily FH and I didn't have too much trouble deciding. We each suggested a few and when FH suggested the one we ended up choosing we both agreed it was the one!

The choice was easy for me - FH loved the song and thought it would be a good choice for us to dance to. Once he played it for me, I thought it was perfect too.

Our wedding is very vintage/1930s glam, and we want to do a waltz. We changed our first dance song four times, but now it’s Tightrope from The Greatest Showman soundtrack. 😍

We really struggled to find a song as well! We have very different tastes in music and we went back and forth on ideas. We finally settled on Bruce Springsteens "if I should fall behind". As an older couple, finding each other later in life, it seems to speak to us. We also saw him in concert a couple of years ago and had an amazing time! FH has cried listening to it ♡

Glad you found your song! We're still in the limbo stage of not knowing what our song will be. We have 15 months to go so lots of time to figure it out tho lol.
