Final guest count

Jorge, on August 19, 2017 at 2:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

Wanted to get some insight on the final guest count. We went over our limit and now we need to pay an extra fee per person. My question is, if you guys are going through the same, do you give an exact # or you give a lower # than what it actually? Our concern is, we will pay 20 extra guest and from what I understand there's always 1-10 no-shows. So we don't wanna pay extra if people won't show up. Any feedback will be appreciated!

Always expect everyone to show up. Give the exact guest count of people who RSVP yes.

My daughter got married last weekend. She called in her exact count and had 1 no show and 1 addition that was not expected. I'd call in your true count.

Do you have to give your guest count before you receive the RSVPs? If possible, I'd wait until you have an actual count of yeses and use that.

Give the exact count. If you don't, and everyone shows up, there might be a food shortage which will be very embarrassing.

Give the exact count- better safe than sorry. And it might not have been a good idea to invite more than the limit in the first place!

Everyone that RSVP yes, showed up to our wedding. Someone cancel the week before, so we needed to pay for that plate. But o would say give the exact count
