Finacé and i both Unemployed

Nicole, on March 6, 2018 at 1:16 AM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 2
It has being a while since I have being thinking about posting in a group just to be encouraged and not feel so down and out. My fiancé and I are both unemployed due to certain cercumstances. We cannot begin to plan our wedding properly(Setting a date,Venue hire, dress fitting etc) until we both find employment. It has really saddend myself and him but we try our best to make the most in job hunting etc. I thought that there is nothing worse then wanting to start planning your wedding but not being able to due to certain cercumstances until I read a post in one of the groups from a lady that posted about her finacé passing away while there wedding was just a few months away. It really broke my heart, to think that one might think your situation is bad and you might feel down and out but the next person is going through far worse then you. My heart bleeds for her and I could never imagine my life without my finacé. To all of us in this group know that know situation is so bad for you not to get up one day, dust yourself off and go on. For some it might take a while to get back up but always remember to make your higher power your source of Strength. Have a blessed Day

Hi Nicky, hope you're doing well. I just felt some kind of connection into this because I experienced a bit of what you're going through. And I like what you said about there are others who have been in worse situations. But my fiance and I just started planning a wedding few months ago and he lost both of his jobs in a short time period. It was very stressful although I worked but it was no where enough to what our budget was. He was on a desperate job hunt going to interviews and hoping to get called back. With every one wondering what was going to happen with all the expenses. I told myself that everything happens for a purpose, that their must be a reason why God let's us go through things. Surely enough I came to understand that sometimes it's what's best for us. Not the whole world. And surely enough after the struggle he was able to find a job and things just slowly moved back into place. I think that you shouldn't stress about it and definitely don't listen to many outside voices because it's not the people getting married it's you and your fiance. Enjoy the moment with each other encourage one another and before you know it there will be an open door of blessings. I always say keep the faith keep on planning and having ideas until when the means are available you just start confirming and booking. Good luck it definitely will get better 😊
